The Workshop - Leyton

This is a project that is very close to my heart. My first big build and my first house. Initially rented as a workshop and then by chance I managed to buy it, get planning and build it. Project managed by myself where I had the shell built by a contractor and I completed the finishing of the internals. I had a strong design lead throughout working with my architect William Paul. All internal timber finishes done by myself and team. To include, sunken bath and shower tray, bathroom cabinetry, I-beams from the old unit repurposed into a Master Double Bed. Wardrobes and drawers for upstairs. Cabinetry for back room and shelves. Kitchen built with birch ply carcasses, Rift oak doors and a reclaimed Snooker table slate repurposed as a worktop, the joins between the slates filleted with solid 2mm brass.
